Longstay Program
For those looking to connect with Hawaii in a deeper and often more satisfying way, we offer our 2 month longstay program. Participants homestay for 2 months but are asked to be more independant and to take part in the operations of the household.
The first 2 weeks, students join the CNC program followed by a focus on one or more personal interests combined with the improvement of language ability.
Every Saturday we join a full day activity visiting some of the hidden treasures of Hawaii's Big Island so that you will know this island, even call it your home away from home.
This program is offered only 3 times a year and requires students to come with an open heart and a spirit of adventure.
Our English training course was designed by Owner Matt Carter, and is a truly different type of English class.
This course is about you-about your relationship to learning and to communication- and will help you integrate the acquisition of a second language into your daily life.
The Big Island of Hawaii is part of one of the Earth's most unique cycles. The result is a unique energy that is healing, uplifting and transforming. We believe that in this energy field the ancient (and some modern) Hawaiians were able to reach a level of consciousness acheived in few other places. This energy still exists and for those that tune in to it powerful changes can occur. It is in this setting that we digest a few universal lessons that connect all of the experiences of our program into something real, useful and practical. We are confident in saying that there is no other English program in the world like ours.
